I hate when people ask “what do you know about the weeknd?” Like I just discovered him. I’m not on a bandwagon. I’ve been a fan for years. Since 2010. Since he put music on YouTube. First song I ever heard from him was “what you need”. I stumbled upon him by just bullshitting around on YouTube and happened to love him. Been a fan ever since. Then I heard him on a track with drake. “Crew love” I was for sure he was gunna blow up, but since everyone was on drakes dick they didn’t really notice Abel . Now he’s getting some radio time and people are just now discovering him and wanna act like the one song they hear on the radio is all they need to know. Smh. Little do they know he has so much great unheard music. And the fact that they don’t even know its just one guy, and not a group. God people. He deserves to be rich and famous but please, he’s a respectable artist. Not not industrialized music puppet.
